what's on keith's MUSIC PLAYLIST?

"I gotta find the Nearest Exit.  I gotta get outta here.
Can't wait till the rain clears.  My heart is flashing the hazard lights.
The rain is falling too hard to drive."

what's on keith's MUSIC PLAYLIST?

I don't mind your odd behavior.  It's the very thing I savor.
If you were an ice cream flavor, you would be my favorite one.

My imagination sees you like a painting by Van Gogh.
Starry nights and bright sunflowers follow you where you may go.

I've loved you from the start in every single way
And more each passing day.
You are brighter than the stars. Believe me when I say:
'It's not about your scars.  It's all about your heart'

You're a butterfly held captive--Small and safe in your cocoon
Go on you can take your time.  Time is said to heal all wounds

I've loved you from the start in every single way
And more each passing day.
You are brighter than the stars. Believe me when I say:
'It's not about your scars.  It's all about your heart'

Like a lock without a key,
Like a mystery without a clue.
There is no me if I cannot have you .

I've loved you from the start in every single way
And more each passing day.
You are brighter than the stars. Believe me when I say:
'It's not about your scars.  It's All About Your Heart'

what's on keith's MUSIC PLAYLIST?

Tell me how I'm sposed to deal with the thought of you not being here.
Tell me how I'm sposed to feel knowing what we had was so real.
And it's so hard taking a chance.
So close yet so far--Don't wanna miss a thing.
And I'll keep waiting for something that I've never known
But I don't wanna be in Love Alone.

what's on keith's MUSIC PLAYLIST?

It should've been you and I--something like a paradise,
But you can let your feelings die on me.
I don't need 'em.
You see it took all this time to get away from these lies
And you can see it in these eyes that I'm lying.
"I still need you".

what's on keith's MUSIC PLAYLIST?

"You wouldn't recognize me standing right in front of your face.
Nothing like I used to be and now I'm saying:
Been feeling so fly since you been gone.
My face to the sky.  Sunglasses on.
Turnin up the beat so sick.
I'm like a Brand New Bitch"

This perfume has been on my WISHLIST since it was featured in Elle magazine during the fall of last year and I finally got my hands on it even after an attempt in January to buy it from my local Nordstrom's which was totally sold out at the time.  Shame on them, right?  They should have put one on hold for moi.  Good thing there's always

what's on keith's MUSIC PLAYLIST?

"We still live in the same town, well, don't we?
But I don't see you around anymore.
I go to all the same places--not even a trace of you.
Your days are numbered at 24.

And I'm getting bored waiting 'round for you.
We're not getting any younger,
And I won't look back 'cause there's no use.
It's time to move forward.

I feel no sympathy.  You lived inside a cave.
You barely get by the rest of us,
You're trying.  There's no need to apologize.
I've got no time for Feeling Sorry."

what's keith READING?

Stealing Beauty by Katherine Zoepf

Allure/September 2011
"Surprisingly, middle-class people are demonstrably more likely to shoplift than the poor: People who have gone to college are more likely to shoplift than those who have not, and people who earn more than $70,000 per year are more likely to shoplift than those who earn less.  Thus many shoplifters are, like Lauren--and Winona Ryder and, allegedly, Lindsay Lohan--from privileged backgrounds, stealing things that they could have easily afforded to buy.  Health and beauty products like moisturizers and makeup consistently top annual lists of the most shoplifted items.

*          *          *

Rapid transformation, ironically, is what many people seek through shoplifting, Shteir says.  She recalls being very struck early in her shoplifting research by stories about drag queens stealing designer clothing.  "They were essentially stealing their identity," she says.  "But then I started to think that this was true from every group."  When a shoplifter slips that perfect lipstick or scarf into her purse, she imagines that reinvention is possible, and for a moment, she is free from the dull reality of paying for things.  Of course, that freedom is illusory--and comes at a high price."

how was keith's 25TH BIRTHDAY?

For starters it was ten times better than last years.  Remember THIS and THIS.  Yeah, I have nothing to complain about this year.

On my day of birth, I went to Second English Evangelical Lutheran Church to do some of my community service and then I headed to my mother's house.  Thankfully my mother is out of town on a business trip so I have the house to myself until Valentine's Day.  (She has no idea that I'm residing here while she's gone.  She just asked me to let Lexi out everyday.)  I originally had plans to hang out with Rick after he got off work but I canceled on account of the rain and snow.  Before I forget, I must also mention that Teon wished me a Happy Birthday via text message.  I miss him so much--if only he knew.

On Thursday the ninth, my brother wished me a Happy Belated Birthday via text message.  I also completed some more community service hours at the church.

Friday the tenth, I finally completed all 24 hours of my community service.  Yay!  Later that evening, Rick treated me to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.

Finally on Saturday and Sunday, the eleventh and twelfth, I did nothing but sleep in, chill, watch 90210 Season 3 DVD, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Braxton Family Values and MobWives on Comcast OnDemand, and dance to my iPod.

Apparently my friends at the homeless shelter got a birthday card for me which I have yet to receive on account of the fact that I have been nowhere near the HRC since Wednesday morning.  To be honest, I was quite shocked to think that they really cared enough to wish me a Happy Birthday let alone get me a card.  In fact, I don't recall telling anyone that the eighth was my birthday.  I think New York was responsible for that.  Oh yeah and I've been avoiding him too.  Drama seems to follow him wherever he goes and I just haven't been in the mood to hear any of it while I'm on my little vacation from the HRC.

Unfortunately neither of my grandmother's wished me a Happy Birthday.  I'm kind of disappointed in my maternal grandmother, Alice, but I won't hold it against her.

I just want to end this post by thanking God for blessing me with 25 years of life.  While the last couple of years have been quite rocky, I can say that at this moment, I have never felt more loved, more at peace, more humbled and more blessed.  I pray that I get to see another 25 years in my right mind walking on both of my feet.

I leave you with a quote from the birthday card my mother left me with.  Enclosed was a twenty dollar bill and a powerful message just for me:
"SON, There are so many things I want for you, so many wishes in my heart as I watch you grow into your own life...

I wish you a world of adventure and experience- and also the serenity that come from listening to your inner voice as the world rushes around you...

I wish you the strength to face challenges with confidence- along with the wisdom to choose your battles carefully...

I wish you the satisfaction of seeing your goals achieved and also the true contentment that is born of simple things- work well-done, friends well-loved, moments caught and cherished.

And my greatest wish is that you will always remember how much you are loved- for you are a good and caring person...

a man I am proud to have for a son.

Happy Birthday"

what did keith JUST GET IN THE MAIL?

Yes sir.  You're looking at an image of my brand new watch.

I've been a fan of Diesel Time Frames for quite some years now and have a collection of about five or so.  I haven't bought one in over three years since my money has been a little funny.  Fortunately that debacle is over for quite some time so I just had to cop this one.  And at half off ($80), who wouldn't?

My fifth DTF.  Call it a Birthday present to myself.

what did keith GET RICK FOR CHRISTMAS?

So I finally ordered these shoes for Rick after I promised I would get him a pair back in October.  I own the same exact pair however I'm a 46 (12 US) while Rick is a 44 (11 US).  Rick has yet to get me a Christmas present.  Maybe this will influence him to Get Me A Damn Gift!  I'm just saying.

I actually stole this set from my mother back in the late spring of 2011.  I'm quite sure she  received it as a gift from a coworker probably during Christmas of 2010.  It was sitting in the attic waiting for her to re-gift for some occasion.  Well, let's just say that the gift is now all mine.

Other Fragrance Mist's I've picked up recently from Bath & Body Works

Born February 3, 1977

I even sent him a text message:
Happy 35th Birthday.  May today bring you all that you ask for and more.  Take care.  (~11:15 AM)

His response:

Thank you so much!  (11:45 AM)

I will admit that I still think about him everyday.

I thought you'd still be mine when I kissed you good-bye.
And you might be with [him] but I still had you first.

keith, WHO IS THAT?

Take a look at THIS.

Now that your back, do you recognize the name of
Tyrone Johniken
Semaj "Chardonnay" Daniels' Ex-Boyfriend.

Yes mam.  Her boyfriend was arrested on 1/27 shortly after being placed in a transitional home.  As you can see, he's facing some major federal charges and I'm quite sure he's going to be locked up for quite some time.  His bail is even set at a half a million dollars.  Go figure.  As for Nay, she is definitely not a ride or die chick so of course she's moving on which is a good thing really because no one thought that they were a good match in the first place.
