I totally identify with Chris Brooks in that he simply just can't tell his mother that he is HIV Positve.  Chis claims that his mother is extremely stubborn and so is mine.  Although in my case, I have yet to inform anyone not even Rick.  The thing is I'm quite sure that Rick would still love me and stay with me.  It's just the stigma of it all and I don't want him to look at me different.  That's my biggest fear.

I am loving Kristen Stewart on the June 2012 cover of Elle Magazine.  I have to say that she has never looked better.   I'm not a huge fan of the Twilight franchise but I will say that I've been a huge fan of hers ever since she dropped her award right on stage at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.  She's a lady after my own heart because I just love how awkward she can be at times.  Now the article, Basic Instict, is dry as can be and an unsuccessful attempt at filling pages just for the sake of promoting her latest movie, Snow White & The Huntsman.  But I will add that I adore the fact that she's not really into being a celebrity but rather a great actress, an occupation she truly enjoys.  "She's young, she's famous--she's still figuring it out herself."  And I'll add that she's growing into one remarkable and beautiful young woman.

I'm loving the fact that we now have a public figure trying to blur gender lines.  I've always felt like gender should not confine how one expresses oneself.  I just wish I had a little bit of his confidence.

how did keith WEATHER THE STORM?

As you all know, the northeast region was hit with a massive storm Friday night/early Saturday morning.  Meteorologists are now calling it a derecho.  Now the worst part of it all is that this storm came with NO WARNING.  We're talking hurricane force winds in excess of 75 mph.  Maryland as well as it's neighboring states are really feeling its wrath because it has caused some major damage.  Fallen trees are everywhere knocking out power to millions.  In fact, our power went out around 12:30 AM Saturday morning but luckily it came back on around 12:30 PM Sunday afternoon.  Unfortunately tens of thousands in the city still do not have power and have to bear the 90 degree plus weather to no avail including my mother.  A tree in her back yard fell partially on her garage as well as the back fence.  She says that there are a lot of trees down in her neighborhood including one in her neighbor's yard that fell on the power line.  She still has no power, phone, or cable.  The Baltimore Gas Electric Company estimates that all power will be restored by Friday however.  What a weekend?  The good thing is that I didn't miss the 2012 BET Awards.  Unfortunately it wasn't anything worth talking about.  Take it away Ms. Dineva.

what's in keith's MAKEUP BAG?

I take it that this concealer is truly intended to be used under and around the eyes, however I didn't use it for that purpose.  I used it to conceal any blemishes or hyperpigmentation on my face and I must say that it did an okay job.  It offers full coverage, although it doesn't seem to last long on it's own.  I have to set the concealer with a setting powder for longer wear.  My main concern for this concealer is that it doesn't come in enough shade ranges and I found that the concealer was far too light for the foundation.  When I use True Match super blendable makeup in C6 Soft Sable or W8 Creme Cafe, both concealers matched pretty well but what about shades C 7-8 and N 7-8.  My folks of color, that's where I think you'll run into a problem.  I won't be buying stealing this item again.
